Introduction to Our Thesis

Hello everyone,
We are Tiphaine Hérault and Andréa Mathieu, general practice interns at the University of Bordeaux. As part of our thesis, we are exploring an important topic: the use of condoms in preventing sexually transmitted infections (STIs) among young people aged 18 to 25 in the Gironde region.

Objectives of Our Research

Our aim is to determine the relationship and partner characteristics that influence condom use. We also wish to assess what is perceived as a high risk of STIs in a partner. This research could contribute to improving young people’s sexual health by promoting safe practices.

Taking Part in Our Study

To carry out this study, we have designed an anonymous online questionnaire lasting about 10 minutes. We are seeking participants aged 18 to 25. If you are a member of a student association and can share our questionnaire, we would be very grateful. Here is the direct link to the questionnaire. We have also attached a poster with a QR code linking to the questionnaire, which you can display on your premises.
